Kabbalah and Self-Healing 4

Uprooting Negative Energy through Forgiveness

Spiritual Healing from the Torah

Kabbalah and Self Healing

Kabbalah and Self-Healing 4

This course guides us in self refinement synchronized with the energy of the months of Tevet and Shevat. At first glance, Tevet looks like a dark month, where anger and agitation rule rampantly. “He made the letter Ayin king over agitation, He bound a crown to it and with it He formed Capricorn in the Universe and Tevet in the year, and the liver in the soul” (Sefer Yetzira, Chapter 5). Yet, the month takes its name from Hatavah, self-betterment and preparation for illumination. This process continues during the month of Shevat with its letter Tzadi symbolizing righteousness. The work of these two months enables us to become like the fruit-bearing tree to which humanity is compared. Overcoming negativity through anger management and forgiveness during Tevet is completed by increasing righteousness, through elevating fears, strengthening emunah and praising Hashem with music and song during Shevat. The letter of Tevet which means “Eye” alludes to the change of perspective necessary for learning to view even what agitates us to the extreme as a most welcome challenge to reach self-refinement and forgiveness. Anger is compared to idol-worship, because it has no place, when we truly believe in Hashem and trust that whatever He sends our way – even the darkest negativity – has a purpose to help us grow and improve our character. We can utilize the sparks of agitation, which challenge us during Tevet as a springboard to uproot anger and grow deeper roots of faith and trust in Hashem during Shevat. We will furthermore learn about how music is used in the Torah for healing and to expel negative energy. We will practice EmunaHealing exercises for forgiveness, transforming negativity and resentments and overcoming fear while receiving practical tools for how to channel our fears, angers and negative feelings in positive ways.

Kabbalah and Self-Healing 4: Uprooting Negative Energy through Forgiveness Curriculum

“Transforming and Channeling Resentment, Anger and Negativity”

Negativity, which affects most people, can harm our relationships greatly. The dark cloud of anger can prevent us from expressing love towards the people who are closest to us. When we get upset, Hashem’s light within us is blocked and negative energy of the primordial serpent can enter and take control. In this workshop, you will learn EmunaHealing techniques for anger management. You will study Torah sources on anger and how to heal this negative emotion. You will also practice anger management methods based on the Rambam, and spiritual healing techniques for detoxing the liver – the seat of anger, removing the spiritual toxins stored there.

“The Healing Power of the Shema Yisrael “שמע ישראל

The Shema Yisrael Prayer is a verbal mikvah, pouring into every level of our souls and aligning us to the truth of Hashem’s Oneness, purifying doubt and the temptation to believe that there is anything in the world that is separate from Hashem. In this workshop, you will delve into mystical Torah texts on the roots and deeper meaning of the Shema Yisrael prayer, and get a glimpse of why the Shema Yisrael Prayer is like a seed that contains the entire Torah, an alchemical formula directly to G-d. The workshop includes guided meditations and EmunaHealing techniques such as spiritual energy balls, and how to access the power of the Shema Yisrael Prayer to nullify negative energy and entering Hashem’s light into a space.

Forgive and Let Live

A Forgiveness Workshop for Spiritual Healing and Ahavas Yisrael

How can we love another Jew completely if we hold onto old grudges and hurts?

Even if we have learned much about the importance to forgive, it may still be hard to actually change the feelings in our heart. In this workshop we will not only learn Torah sources on how to forgive ourselves and others, we will do guided visualization and practice spiritual healing (EmunaHealing) exercises to clear negative feelings from the heart.  Learning to open our heart energy center Tiferet, will help break our “heart walls” and enable love to flow freely into and out of our heart. The workshop includes a comprehensive source sheet in Hebrew and English integrating, Bible texts, Midrash, Chassidism and Kabbalah with EmunaHealing tools on forgiveness and clearing emotional and spiritual blocks that prevent us from giving and receiving love.

The Three Primal Fears and How to Overcome Them

Fears are some of the main causes of both emotional and spiritual blocks. There are many different kinds of fears, fear of living, fear of dying, the fear of not being in control, the fear of being overwhelmed… Behind every fear is a trauma. The origin of the communal state of disease for the Jewish people is the fear of exile. This fear can be traced back to the three core traumas in the Jewish psyche represented by our three main exiles – Egyptian, Babylonian, and present (the exile of Edom). This shiur will go deeper into these archetypal fears, how they play out in our daily day life, and provide spiritual, emotional and physical tools to overcome them. The workshop includes guided meditation, a power point presentation and a comprehensive source sheet in Hebrew/English accompanies the textual study integrating, Bible texts, Midrash, Chassidism Kabbalah.

“The Healing Power of Music for Expelling Negativity and Depression”

From time immemorial, music has always held a central place in the service of Hashem. The women leaving Egypt packed their tambourines in order to praise Hashem for the miracles at the splitting of the Sea. Music played a prominent role in holy schools of the benei nevi’im (students of the prophets). It was the Biblical “jump-start” tool for accessing higher consciousness and prophecy. The Jewish people have undergone a long and wearisome exile, through which we have been depleted of much of our spirit. Following the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem with its musical service, using music to achieve an altered state of consciousness was lost. However, with the return to the land of Israel, the role of music in the Torah world is undergoing a spiritual renaissance. In this course, you will learn from Torah sources about the role of music to restore the soul, remove ruach ra (depression) and achieve higher consciousness and devekut (cleaving to Hashem). You will also practice various music meditations and chanting Chassidic Niggunim (melodies) to arouse your spiritual awareness and help heal others.
