Midreshet B'erot Bat Ayin's Alumnae Shabbaton

Midreshet B’erot Bat Ayin would like to invite you (and your family) to join us for our first-ever Alumnae Shabbaton on October 24th-25th, Parashat Bereishit! We are excited to have the opportunity to reconnect with our former students to find out what you are doing and where you have gone since your journey through B’erot.

Highlights of the Alumnae Shabbaton:

- Welcome Back Reception

- Re-connecting with Bat Ayin families and old B'erot friends

- Women's Only Oneg Shabbat: Share Your Memories through Song, Drama, Poetry and Storytelling

- Catered Shabbat lunch

- Seudah Shlishit Potluck with Rebbetzin Chana Bracha

- Midreshet B'erot Bat Ayin: Where We've Been and Where We are Going Presentation

- More details to come!

Meals and Accommodations:

Sleeping arrangements and Seudat Leil Shabbat will be hosted B’H by families in the yishuv, making it easy for those of you with kids to eat and sleep in the same place. If there is a particular family that you would like to stay by, please let us know and we will do our best to see if we can arrange that for you. Please do not make your own arrangements as we do not want the families to receive multiple calls from different alumnae regarding sleeping and eating arrangements for the Shabbaton.

How you can help:

- RSVP ASAP!

- Send us 3-5 pictures of you from your B'erot days and now. Please send them in JPG file format and no larger than 1MG. Make sure to write some descriptions of the pictures so we know who the people are in the pictures, when it was taken and what was happening at the time. We will be using the pictures in a slideshow and for a commemoration book.

- Prepare a song, drama skit, poem or story that reflects some experience you had at B'erot. Everyone will have an opportunity to present during the Oneg Shabbat.

- Let me know if you are able and willing to help with setting up, tearing down and cleaning up before, during and after the Shabbaton. Those who help can get a discount on the cost of the Shabbaton.

Cost:

We’re estimating the cost of the Shabbaton to be around 100 shekels for a single alumane student and 300 shekels per family.

Please get back to me right away if you are interested in attending this event, so we can start making the arrangements necessary to accommodate everyone in Bat Ayin. Send an email to info@berotbatayin.org with the following information:
